COLDPLAY WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

I just had one of the best nights of my life!!!! My brave best Dad in the whole world, next to my husband, came up here to watch our children and my husband and I went on an adventure!!!

It started at Carrow's on Beech Blv. We had appetizers and two beers, then went over to Knott's and rode a couple of roller coasters... they have a new one called the Pony Express. Knott's is always a fun place to go and I love the smell of the log ride. Then we swung in and picked something up from my Sister-In-Law, stayed and visited for awhile and off we went to check into our hotel. I totally recommend it to anyone.... beautiful hotel and very friendly staff.

Went to the hotel....got ready for the best concert of the year at the Honda Center. That band was ROCKIN' last night!!!!! I danced all night long and the energy there was incredible. You could feel the music with your soul!!!! Being there with the love of my life was such an enriching experience!!!! It was a Mental Health Day for us! No kids, just us being kids!!!! There was such a variety of people there. From 60 something to kids with their parents....every nationality. So diverse, but we were all on the same page.... We were there to have a kick ass time and see Coldplay live!!!!!

If anyone of you do not know Coldplay please take a look at this..... it will be awhile before they tour again..... but when they do I'll be there again in a heartbeat!

What are you THANKFUL for this Thanksgiving???

Hello fellow TN Bloggers!!!!! I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope all of you have a safe, healthy, joyous Holiday and you are spending it with family and/or friends.

From this Sunday until Thursday, let's see how many people will list their thoughts of what they are THANKFUL for. It could be anything trivial like lower gas prices to not over-cooking the bird. Or more heartfelt things.....your choice.....

About Tomorrow.....

I have anxiety about tomorrow you guys. I have been looking forward to it since last week and I have arranged for my Dad to make a special trip up here to watch the kids because my husband has to work. When in new situations I like to have him by my side. He feels like a worn- in comfy warm sweater when he's beside me. But now that the day is approaching I'm playing chicken with myself. Was anyone as nervous as I am when you decided to go to your first meet-n-greet?

Sex Survey.....

All this talk about marriage and sex is kind of revealing in it's own way. Upon reading another post which linked me to this website...... I went exploring, and found a survey done by a well known company that specializes in pleasure. Could it be? Awsmom was laughing at my comment because at one time I mentioned furry handcuffs then recently of spanking the horse....actually, it was beating the dead horse. I was just trying to make light of the situation..... but was I really? LOL!!! Are the Conservatives not so conservative......... Is there a Freudian feud thing going on between the Republicans and the Democrats? ; )

Hot Soup and Movie Day

Meatball Soup.....

4%fat LEAN hamburger, 1 cup of steamed white rice, minced garlic,dash of Italian Seasoning, salt, pepper, parsley, pinches of cumin, garlic powder, (not garlic salt) 4 big boxes of beef broth, snow peas, ready-to-eat-carrots, sweet onion, 3 stalks of celery, handful of cabbage, baby red potatoes, 1large can of diced tomatoes, small can of diced green chili's......

Mix hamburger, rice, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, pinches of cumin, salt and pepper.....make meatballs, in skillet rotate and brown as desired. In large pot , add beef broth and snow peas, quartered sweet onion, sliced celery, ready-to-eat carrots, green chili's and diced tomatoes......add meatballs. Stir often.....lastly, add quartered baby red potatoes and handful of cabbage. Sprinkle in a tsp. of garlic powder add salt and pepper to taste add parsley. Cook until meatballs are thoroughly cooked, when in doubt, slice one open. Potatoes should still hold their shape and cabbage is soft and yummy. This is a great soup to warm your belly. Veggies keep you going all day. You can freeze leftover soup and save it for the next rainy day. Just thaw in fridge and reheat on stove. Tastes as great as the day you made it.

Movies.......... very cute Kung Fu Panda.....The bucket List..... Journey to The Center of The Earth. It's a great day for this..... Cuddle up with your kids on the couch.....

Obama's Aunt, from Kenya, who he mentioned in his book, was discovered to be living here in the U.S. Illegally. Yes, Gube, Illegally. Obama lives the life of comfort and his Aunt lives in the projects. Guess he wants us to SPREAD THE WEALTH!!!

Campaign signs missing

Driving my son to school this morning I noticed that all the signs are missing from my neighbors yards and mine!!!!! I'm pissed!!!!! Is anyone out there missing signs as well? This just happened last night. I didn't go to bed until 1:00 and they were still there....so it had to be around 1:00-7:00 this morning.

Fallen Hero

It was two years ago today that my husband lost his best friend and before wives and kids, roommate. His name was Landon Dorris and he worked for the LAPD. He was a wonderful husband and an awesome dad to their two little boys. He was also a great friend to my husband. His death was sudden and tragic to all those who knew and worked with Landon. I knew this day was approaching before I went to bed last night and as soon as I got up this morning, the loss seemed just as strong as two years ago. I've been roaming the house with tears in my eyes. It was the saddest funeral that I have been to. I remember the sound of his wife crying in the Cathedral, I remember the tears of his little boys has they touched the coffin to say their final good-bye. I remember my husband trying to be strong, but overwhelmed with emotion driving in the precession and looking up at the huge flags draped on the overpass and watching the firefighters salute the motorcade. Oh, it was so sad. I wanted to look at his memorial this morning and reflect and I noticed something ironic.....on this day in Tehachapi an officer named Constable Thomas Godwin was lost in the line of duty as well in 1876. So , it is a sad day for me and I am remembering Landon and still hear his voice. I will think of Officer Godwin as well.

Just wanted all of you to know (if you care) Sarah Palin is making an appearance on Saturday Night Live tonight. Yeah! Sometimes it's good to laugh at yourself. Good for her!!!

ACORN does it again!!!!!

Well, here we go again. The left wing and corrupted organization, this one being located in Nevada which is considered a "swing state", that Barak Hussein Obama supports, decides once again that they need get more voters for Obama and they don't care how it's done. In the original "bailout" plan the democrats wanted 20 billion dollars to help fund this agency that supports illegal immigration, registering poor and low-income voters and criminals.....they even went so far to say that felons should be allowed to vote. This is a quote taken from the NFL website.
