http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/pagwytch Hello I am new to this area, A friend of mine from years ago got me up here, and well I fell in love. I was living in Canyon Country, AKA the Santa Clarita Valley. I was born and raised there. Well it just got so out of hand, way too many people were driving through there to go to work, or to go to Magic Mountain. what used to take 10 mins to go across town now takes 45 mins or longer, and that is only goinng 7 miles. The City has ruined the home town look, the fun, everything. I lived in a studio and I hear the sirens at least every 5 mins. It was all so loud. so when I moved up here, well The first night I slept like a baby. I still sleep great. I do not want to change anything about this town, I love the fill and the look of a home town. It turly is awesome. When you walk down the street you don't have to hide, and people really wave to you. that is something......... I hope that Tehachapi stays this way for years to come. I would love to have my grandkids come live up here. I know it is safe enough for them to play with out worries of some drive by shootings, and I am able to afford the rent so much better here. Now I live in a 2 bedroom and I love it. en-us
