Just smelling the open bottleneck is like a little bit of heaven for him. But the other night I was sitting watching politics with a glass of white wine (which is one of the best ways to watch politics), and there he was, sniffing like there was no tomorrow. So, I dipped my finger into the wine and put it by his nose, thinking the alcohol smell would back him up. But noooooooooooo, he started licking my finger as though it was covered in barbeque sauce! The poisonous part of grapes for dogs is their seeds. That being said, it is not good for them to consume in any sort of quantity (just like for people).
