What kind of America would you be willing to die for, would you sacrifice your children to die for, and what kind of America are our troops being ordered to die for now? What kind of America did those we commemorate at this time die for? Walt Kelly had a strip going with the bats using a toy telephone that would communicate with the departed. If we had any such means of contacting the noble dead being commemorated by Memorial Day would we be asked to “Press one for English?” For the time being Memorial Day isn’t being remembered with Mexican flags displayed, though there are some that seem to believe it should at the very least be flying alongside the American flag, and there are many places in America where this is actually the case, and if you attempt to call any number of places in America you will be asked to “Press one for English” and a Federal Dictatorship prints ballots in Spanish, forces courts, schools, and medical facilities provide services...
