The election results are finally in and certified.  Unfortunately Henry did not garner enough votes as a write-in candidate to make it on the council.  On the upside, the number of votes he received for being a write-in candidate is impressive and definitely should send a message that the electorate of Tehachapi is taking back control of their City Council. I will need your input and support on the passing of ordinances if I meet with opposition on items on the agenda that are the wishes of the citizens of Tehachapi. Here are the final "final" vote results for the November 7, 2006 election: KERN COUNTY ELECTION RESULTS AS REPORTED BY CAROL AND ANN BARNETT OF THE KERN COUNTY ELECTIONS OFFICE ON 12/05/06 @ 9:08 A.M.
