What is the deal with all these remakes and rehashes of old movies?  I read they are remaking Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds now.  Didn't they learn with the ridiculous remake of Psycho?   Re-making Hitchcock movies borders on sacrilegious. With so many good stories out there I find it incredible that they go back and rehash (and usually butcher) the old movies.  They even remade Halloween.  I mean come on.  Thats just a slasher flick!  Its just a cheap thrills movie to begin with, and not about story. Anyway, sorry for the rant.  I just love movies so much and the average quality of movies these days is just going down the tubes.  It frustrates me.
