We are looking for a home that doesn't have small children or small dogs for my male Shepard mix. On Wednesday night, he attacked my male min pin, by grabbing him by the neck, shaking him three times and throwing him across the room. (think of a coyote attack!) I immediately rushed him to the vet, where I was told that he would be ok. His leather collar saved his life. His bites to the neck missed his jugular vein by less than 1cm. He would have bled out if it hit his vein. The collar kept the teeth from going in deeper. The attack was unprovoked, it wasn't over food or anything else.
