The New Year is right around the corner and, unfortunately, so is tax time. If you need a last minute tax deduction before December 31st, please consider donating to a local pet charity to help Tehachapi's homeless dogs and cats. Both the Tehachapi Humane Society and the Doberman SOS rescue are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, so contributions to them are tax deductible. If you'd like to make a donation to either of these charities, items can be dropped off at Canine Creek Dog Wash & Boutique located at the corner of Valley Blvd & Tucker Road. For a list of items needed by these organizations, see the Recycling page on our website: http://www.caninecreek.com/recycling.htm If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make your checks payable to the Tehachapi Humane Society or the Doberman SOS rescue.
