According to the most recent U.S. Census figures, more than 24 million Americans cannot speak English -- that’s more than double the 1990 total. Increasingly, English is being replaced by Spanish, Chinese, Korean and other languages. It is a matter of public record that the federal government has so far refused to declare English as the official language of the United States. In fact, the government continues enacting laws requiring the use of foreign languages in more and more official capacities -- and all at taxpayers’ expense! What’s your opinion?
