Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
After I read the TN article regarding the "Senior Prank" I was mystified that some of the parents actually thought the punishment (not walking through graduation, remuneration for damages, etc) as too severe. On the contrary, I think charges should have been filed. Since when is vandalism not a crime? Surely at least a misdemeanor.   Pranks are harmless jokes. Pranks are not vandalism. The school board and administration needs to come down hard on anyone who vandalizes taxpayer property.   How would you like it if someone stole money from you? Well, they did. I paid property taxes which were effectively stolen by vandals. Other residents did too, and anyone who rents paid them because those taxes are passed along as part of rent charges. And, I don't care if they were students or not. They were criminals and need to face the correct consequences.   Harmless prank, yes. Vandalism NO. It's irrelevant that they might have been seniors.
