     “It’s a Pirate’s Life for Me” - what a great title! What a great musical it could be! What a fun play to take the kids and relatives to!  Well, it’s coming on May 18th and 19th in the main sanctuary of Country Oaks Baptist Church, costumed, with rousing music, and a great story.     The students of Heritage Oak School are presenting a musical based on a pirate theme that deals with issues like: can we be satisfied with the life we’ve been given, can a pirate really retire, can young men and women sing like Bluebeard, can Long John Sliver recover his nine chests of gold, is there really such a thing as a .357 magnum coconut gun, can someone in the audience conga dance with a pirate crew, will the blow-up palm trees stay inflated for the whole performance, and can someone actually miss the “boring” life they’ve left for the excitement of the “sweet life” of piracy? ...
