Listening to politicians or most of the talking heads on TV cannot but remind one of the fellow going on at length to a young woman about his many attributes and finally says to her, “Well, enough about me, let’s talk about me.” Politics abounds with people like this fellow, the worst don’t even seem to realize how embarrassingly insincere they are when attempting to make We the People believe they really care about us. Ask anyone and they will tell you sincerity means a lot to them when it comes to evaluating character. How is it politicians invariably miss this very important thing to voters? We all take note of the fact politicians in disarray over immigration and Iraq are single-minded about only one thing: Will their decisions come back to haunt them in the next election cycle. None of them are concerned about doing the right thing, none are concerned about what is best for America and We the People, only about the next election. Sincerity is not...
