No second, hidden agenda here NMedic. You said yourself that the general public, for the most part, has no clue as to exactly how emergency services are handled in Kern County. Us fire guys happen to be involved in providing emergency services, not just fire services, on a daily basis. When we see a topic come up on a blog in the community we live in it sparks an interest, and therefore a discussion of opinions. I appreciate your two cents. Debate and disagreement is a very healthy thing, especially when OUR tax dollars are concerned. The reason we are so passionate about having ALS firefighters is because when we are at work, away from our families, we want to know that if they have to call 911, they are going to get the best service that this county can provide.
