I would also have to say that hospice is great. My dad passed away when I was 12 and I remember not only was there a nurse there in the morning and night to help but they sent out councilors to help my sisters and I and to talk with my dad. After he passed they arranged for my sister and I to attend a camp way out some place in Bakersfield for a week. The camp was for childern that had lost people in their family parents/grandparents. It was all paid for and the camp had fun stuff like waterskiing on a private lake and different activities to help with emotions without you even knowing that that was what they were doing. It was just what my sister and I needed. I am really sorry that you and your family are having to deal with this. It must be so hard! I hope that everything turns for the best and that you find a good support group. I would definatly see what hospice can offer though.
