Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
If history has reversed itself and KCFD is now working with SCVFD, then more power to you.  Up to a couple years ago the Sand Canyon folk were practically shunned by the County.  The mentality was that the County didn't want to spend much on covering that area, but neither did they want a bunch of "vollys" showing them up.It's good to hear you have a different attitude, Shane. Anonymous: did you mean to say "owes much to KCFD" instead of "BCFD"?  If so, I say the Tehachapi Chief owes his life to KCFD.  I have twice  monitored a fire scene in which the TFD Chief had to be removed from harms way by KCFD.  When my son was 13 he had more fireground knowledge than the (then new) Chief.
