Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
From what I understand, they want to put in a 80 plus sec 8 apartment complex.  It would be similar to what they call "housing projects" in larger cities. It would be for low income people.  But the problem is, it would attract families of prisoner's from CCI, who don't care were they live as long as they are close to mom or dad at CCI.  Is this the type of families Tehachapi needs to attract?  I don't think so!!!! Another problem with having Sec 8 housing is that Tehachapi doesn't have the support  system that larger cities have.  Some low income families do not have a car, and there is not a bus system for transport.  How are they going to go to doctor appt's, grocery stores etc.?  There is not a welfare office here and Lancaster/Bakersfield is a long ways off if you don't have transportation.  I'm afraid low income housing would overwhelm the small social service agencies we have here.
