I too enjoyed your post.  AND - I loved all the myth buster info. I've heard all these things via dinner discussions and e-mail. Sometimes I try to explain reality and sometimes I just laugh. I have told all my "used to be friends" that I don't read their forwards.  They still send them.  So, a last summer I sat down and wrote a nice up-date on my life in Tehachapi since we moved here full time three years ago.  It was maybe 500 words - health scares, the birth of our fabulous granddaughter, the massive planting we've done on our acreage and our continuing work on this #$^%&(&*)(  house.  I then told my LA friends that I've known for nearly 20 years that I  would love hearing back from them, with news about  them, their work, their families, activities and friends.  But would not read any dumb "FWD" stuff called things like "best friends week" or "women unite" or...
