First of all, there are many foreign countries who own large pieces of America. Citibank's leading shareholder is a Saudi...and Hillary's not president, so you can't blame that on her. China holds the equivalent of 6% of outstanding loans. If they decided to call in their notes, we'd be in financial ruin. I don't mind that you asked the question about foreign influence on American politics, but I do take exception to the post title, since it has nothing to do with the topic. And that you asked a question that is a completely moot point, which a little research would have told you before asking it here.
