Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?

BART is great getting you downtown from the airport, or if you go across the Bay or to other adjoining areas, but once you are in San Francisco itself, BART doesn't cover the areas you'll probably want to go. It basically goes from the airport, down Market Street, and across the bay to Berkeley. Get off the Bart at Union Station and take the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf - Pier 39 is a nice shopping area nearby. Take a Bay cruise from there - don't bother going to Alcatraz, but the cruise under the Golden Gate and back is nice. A nice afternoon dining option (not near Fisherman's Wharf) is at the Ferry Building. Of course, there is a lot of night life in SF - depending on what you enjoy, you can probably find it. Be sure to take a sweater and dress in layers!
