Hi Eek, I agree with the post above.  When you go to the nursery (Old Towne is my preferred)  take a fresh clipping of the rose bush that is not doing well so they can diagnos the problem. O.T.N. has two master gardners that I know of on staff,  Brian T. &  Donna F.  Go organic if you can, Dr. Earth has a great rose food we use on the rose garden we inherited 6 years ago, some of the bushes are over fifty years old and had not been properly taken care for several years before we moved in.  Now with several years of proper pruning and good nutrition, they are one of the glories of our garden!
