What do mean by "work", Jim?  Presumably what we want from the Al Qaida members in our custody is the truth, not just agreement with us. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanns_Scharff   Hanns Scharff is probably the most famous prisoner interrogator there is - he famously never used torture, or even raised his voice.  After the war, he was brought in to train the our military on how to conduct questioning.  That was before the ignorant buffoons took over, men whose understanding of power is unable to extend past the phase of the schoolyard bully. Of course, beyond being ineffective, torture is decidedly non-Christian.  Feeding people to Lions is a job for the pagans, not the Christians, Jim. So, who is destroying Christianity in America?  George Bush and Dick Cheney.
