Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
Gube, since when is voting connected with courts deciding points of law? The majority doesn't vote decisions of law. While I may also be frustrated because the courts didn't echo my view, I realize the court is there to make decisions on the basis of an interpretation of the constitution and to decide matters when the perceived rights of one person overlaps the perceived rights of another. In reality, the majority make the laws (which must stand constitutional muster), but the courts are there to interpret and also to protect the rights of the minority. This is similar to the democratic process in running a meeting under Robert's Rules of Order. The rules are there to lend and organized operational process, but their mission is actually to protect the rights of the minority (to speak and be heard, etc.). I wouldn't decide to not vote simply because courts render decisions. Who is to say you or I are right over someone else's view? Courts make decisions and they evolve over time. I...
