Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
I'm not against whistles either.  They are also required by law, although a few towns and areas have gotten special regulations to reduce the noise, normally these are accompanied by improved crossing controls to compensate. Of course I was putting the words in your mouth to make a point about road safety, Picturethis. It was meant to be amusing - I hope you don't pass on the right either.   But I'm not a big fan of the Darwin Awards.  You've never done something really, really dumb? As for the two sunbathers, I doubt if they were the first and only kids to use the rail yard that way.  A responsible community or company, noting that the area was being used by teens might have erected fencing to reduce its attractiveness and availabilty to them.  Sensible development principles might also reduce the conflict between railroads and communities.   As for unsignalized crossings, no doubt there are most often adequate sight lines to allow their safe...
