Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
There's a reason why new Federal regulations limit the volume of train horns to 110 db and there's a reason why towns are provided an avenue to regulate train horns, which is all Mr. Olsen is suggesting we follow - same as Bakersfield did.   But we're dumber than Bakersfield, obviously.  Trains have been putting out 140 and even 150 db - about the same as a jet engine.   Is there NO limit to how obnoxious your beloved trains can get? How loud do they have to be to be heard? And awsmom - since when does "I was here first" rule apply to anything more important than your seat at the Hitching Post?  Does the first person in the neighborhood get to have his parties as loud as he wants?
