I worked one summer at a slaughter house when I was 16. I grew up hunting and fishing and thought it would be no big deal. I was very wrong. The smell of death was on me so bad that our family dog did not come near me for over 2 months. After college, I worked in Hazmat for years. I traveled the world and in doing so, I fell in love with food from around the world (I also met my wife while in China). When I got married I promised my wife I would stop doing Haz work and I did. But, the very last job that I did was not only super close to home but was also grim to say the least. Our neighbor (a 30 something male) at our apartment complex in Long Beach died in his apartment.  About 3 days later, I could smell him rotting. I called the police as I knew that smell oh too well and I saw that his mail was backed up in the box. The police broke the door down and he was on the sofa. I won't get into details. I identified the body and as fate would have it, my company had the contract to...
