With as much talk that has surrounded the environment lately, I have been wondering when the citizens of our community would truly begin to realize the gem we are surrounded by.  Wind energy is a clean and very efficient source of power.  There is very little impact on the environment as wind energy is harnessed.  It would also be great to maybe see some more electric powered vehicles used as city government vehicles, given the use of several wind turbines providing power at the waste water treatment facility.  Tehachapi could truly set a wonderful example to the rest of the state and country on how a community can utilize the clean energy God has blessed us with and starting with it in the schools would be great.
