Thanks for the welcome weebles! I am long on ideas and like most people, short on funds. What I'd love to see is a place with a cafe' with a simple ala carte menu' comfy places to sit and read or go online, some low-key, impromptu music from individuals or or small groups, fun little gifty things and art to hold my wandering short attention span and maybe on occasion some local speakers. A successful place would have one particular unique item that draws people in like the best ever chocolate skersnizzalishous or sushi of the day, but the real draw would eventually be the people and the atmosphere. Another great addition would be some sort of family friendly activity like a climbing gym or ice skating or roller rink that could double up as a  public auditorium/meeting place.  And of course, a place with cool clothes and shoes are always a must-have in any downtown area!
