Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
I'd like to reply to this. All election totals are currently considered "unofficial" until certified by the Kern County Elections Division, which is not projecting an official "result" until Dec. 1. They have not even begun to count the write-in votes as yet. When Mr. Richards called in, no one identified themselves as elections experts, but read him the results from the County site, as they were posted. Mr. Richards was informed that Mr. Schaeffer's name was not on the list. There was no mention of the degree to which he did or did not make it. He was read the names of the people on the list who garnered the most votes. Our apologies if he interpreted that as anything other than what it was. No one will know for sure until the write-in votes are counted, and that will not happen until all of the ballots are counted a second time, according to the Elections Division.
