Back in the day when it was a sin and illegal by the government to have sex if you were not married, My father at age 16 joined the military (he lied about his age).  He was stationed in Germany, he met my mom they had sex and mom got pregnant.  They didn't want to abort the baby (ME) so Dad and mom hid from my mom's parents, had me and then eventual when they both turned 18 they got married.  My mom's parents were upset that they did not get to see the birth of me, but even more upset that my Dad took their daughter away from them at such a young age without so much as a word.  My mom's parents were worried because they did not see their daughter for a 1.5 years. I imagine it was horrible for them.   I think if my mothers parents were to have distracted my mother from having sex at such a young age by good communication instead of telling her it was a sin, illegal and that they would be very angry if she got pregnant, she...
