My house faces Philip Marx Park so I have a wonderful view of the park. You might say that I have the prettiest and most active “front yard” in town. I enjoy watching the people who use the park.Easter morning broke sunny and bright. I opened the curtains to let in the morning light and what a treat. The Easter Bunny had visited my very own “front yard.” Scattered among the trees and picnic tables were large pastel Easter Eggs of various sizes. I counted 18 on the northern half of the park and figured that some group had set them out as decorations for a children’s Easter egg hunt. Repeatedly I went back to my window to see what group would show up, but nobody came.Throughout the day, I continued watching the park. As people came, the eggs began to move. Children carried them around and played with them. An Easter egg hunt at the back of the park didn’t seem to be associated with the mysterious eggs. The day became colder and visitors to the park...
