Last year, more than $30,000 in Woodward West scholarships was awarded to kids in inline, skateboarding and BMX freestyle. This year, Woodward West hopes to provide more opportunities to financially needy kids, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to come to camp.“The scholarship program is an outreach effort,” Woodward West Camp Director Debbie Williams said. “We are excited to provide the Woodward West experience to kids, who may otherwise not have an opportunity to come to summer camp.”Applicants of all ages, skill levels and achievement are considered.
