The Braves took the season series from Golden Valley this past week, dropping one game 8-3 while claiming victory in two other games, 13-9 and 7-5.Tehachapi (13-6; 9-3 SSL) chipped away at an early 8-0 lead from Golden Valley last Friday to score three runs, led by Jeff Waldram’s two for three batting, a run scored and three stolen bases, and Christian Brown’s one for two plate performance with a run scored. Johnny Holguin had the other run scored for the junior varsity squad.Earlier in the week, the Braves opened up the scoring early in a 13-9 win over the Bulldogs, scoring 10 runs in the first inning. Franky Rodriguez led the charge, going three for four with a stolen base, a triple and four RBIs.
