Christian Life Assembly is pleased to announce that Chuck Girard, a pioneer in contemporary Christian music, is coming to Tehachapi on Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church will be hosting a worship workshop for all interested worship leaders and team members. This will be a valuable tool for basic worship leading as well as gaining insight from Girard’s own personal revelation of worship and teaching scriptural instruction.  The cost for the seminar is $15, which includes lunch and is payable at the door.  At 7 p.m., there will be a free citywide concert open to everyone.  Girard began playing music at an early age, forming his first singing group, the Castells, in his early teens. Eventually, he recorded as lead singer of the Hondells. The group had its biggest hit with the song “Little Honda,” on which Girard sang lead.  Soon after, Girard began to realize his need for God. He began a five-year search for spiritual reality...
