The July 4 pitching and putting booth at Cub Lake was a popular event with the people attending events on July 1 and 2. The booth was successful thanks to the donations of the following: Gray Mill Educational Consulting, Old Town Nursery, Lani Sebastian, Bob Nessa, Jake’s Steak House, Duane Gore, Domingos, Mel Beck, Livvy Caskey, Idy’s Restaurant and Walt Weed. A special thanks is extended to the following people and businesses that donated to the Oak Tree Country Club Couples Tournament in July: Old Town Nursery, Bob Nessa, Mel Beck, Livvy Caskey, Trader Joe’s, Kitty Bower, Terry Gardner, Suzie’s in Bakersfield, Walt Weed, Duane Gore, Guido and the Blondes and Terry Jurgen and Diane Mooney from Golf Today Magazine. Thanks to all.
