Dear C.C.: I’ve recently graduated from Tehachapi High School and moved away from home. I really love what I’m doing, but being alone is just different and it takes some getting used to. What I’m most concerned about is how I can make sure that I don’t lose ‘who I am’ when I’m out on my own? Dear Newly Independent: Being on your own without the familiar environment of family and friends can often bring up anxieties and other emotions that come with change.
