Donald was born to Thomas and Naomi Roquemore in a farmhouse in Roff, Okla. He moved to Los Angeles in 1948, where he met his wife, Dorothy, also from Oklahoma. They were married in Huntington Park on May 4, 1958. She passed away Dec. 22, 1999, in Bakersfield. Donald managed the print shop at Santa Anita Race Track for over 35 years. He retired to Tehachapi in 1992. Donald passed away at home from cancer. He is survived by six children, 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as a sister living in Oklahoma. He is buried next to his wife at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills.
