The junior varsity, sophomore, and freshmen teams all clinched playoff births with shutouts against the Arvin Grizzlies while the Varsity team lost another tough battle, ending their post-season hopes. All four teams will be in action against the Southwest Mustangs at Stockdale High School in Bakersfield on Oct. 21, with the first round of the playoffs set for Oct. 28. Varsity:  Grizzlies 17, Tomahawks 8.  For the second consecutive week the Tomahawks took the lead into halftime only to fall short, as the Grizzlies outlasted the Tehachapi seniors 17-8. After a hard hitting, scoreless first quarter the Arvin Grizzlies jumped out in front midway through the second with two long pass completions, the second one going for a score. The Tomahawks (1-5) managed to block the two-point conversion kick and returned the ensuing on-side kick-off 40 yards to put themselves in scoring position.  The Tomahawks were able to punch it in for a score four plays later on...
