Michael Lopez’ unexpected passing leaves behind many loving family and friends who will miss him greatly, none more than his bride of nearly two years, Emily Lopez (formerly Emily Mulkins) and their soon to be born child. Baby Lopez is due to arrive on Dec. 28. As we can only imagine, the horror of this tragedy has left behind many in our caring community of Tehachapi wondering how we can help. First and foremost, the Mulkins’ family has asked for our understanding and prayers. Their loss has been almost unbearable and they credit their faith and friends as being perhaps the only things that have sustained them through this very difficult time. The  Mulkins family and especially Emily, truly appreciates the sincere outpouring of love and concern they have received.
