The Bear Valley Springs Equestrian 4-H Club is a new horse group for all area young people ages 7 to16-years-old. Joi-Ashli Gibbs is heading this organization and notes that participants can have any degree of Western riding experience, but must be willing to learn more. Activities will include horse training techniques from the ground and under saddle as well as hoof care and farrier techniques. All riders will learn how to compete in all show classes and will do local competitions as well as 4-H sanctioned shows.   Meetings will begin in January and will be held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Saturday activities will take place one to two times a month as weather permits.
