Most students can't wait for Spring Break because it means spending time at the beach, hanging out with friends, traveling with family, or just relaxing in front of the TV. But for the teens of Bear Valley Church Youth Group, Spring Break is a time for hard work, hot weather, and serving God.
Each year the Bear Valley Church Youth Group takes time out of their Spring Break vacation to travel down to Ensenada, Mexico and meet with Real Life Ministries in order to construct homes for two Mexican families.
This year the group helped restore a house that had recently been in a fire and also built two additions onto homes that needed to be finished. Real Life Ministries sponsors the groups who travel to Ensenada, each alternately building half of a house in order to conserve time and to give the family at least part of a home to live in, until another group comes to finish the home.
While they weren't working, the group was able to go shopping for souvenirs, eat Mexican ice...
