The “T-town Festival,” hosted by Tehachapi Mountain Outreach Program, invites all teens and young adults to an afternoon of free fun, free food, free entertainment and free prizes. Admission is also free! The event is scheduled for Aug. 11, from 1 to 7 p.m., at Philip Marx Central Park, often referred to as City Park. This festival is designed to appeal to 13 to 25 year olds. The festival’s key speaker is Bay Forrest, former NBA professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns; "I love the challenge of being able to bridge the gap between eight to eighty year olds, and everybody in between and try to relate to them all in a way they go; I'm with you, I'm with you," said Forrest. At six foot 10 inches tall, Forrest's presence is captivating and powerful.
