Report Violation

“Orientation was too smooth this year,” said Karen Mackiewicz, mother of Jordyn,  a Tehachapi High School sophomore. THS held its beginning of the year orientation for all students this past Wednesday and Thursday. Students checked in at the gymnasium and followed a path that lead students to schedules, photo IDs, school pictures and school book check out. “I just walked through. It was much easier than last year,” said Jordyn Mackiewicz, sophomore. Last year there were several problems with the students’ schedules. According to new Principal Cary Johnson, there were technical issues with the master scheduling program, as well as a few people errors. “[Former] Principal Arrendondo resolved the issues and fixed the students’ schedules,” said Principal Johnson. To help students and parents have a smooth transition, letters were sent home with all information and paperwork that was needed to be returned before school...
