Chadeau Mountain Clydesdales was established by Chuck Lewter, a local Kern County Firefighter, in Tehachapi in 1993. The current herd sire, Robyncroft Perfect Son (aka “Sonny”) is a multi grand champion stallion and the grandson of the most recognized and awarded Clydesdale stallion of all time - Ayton Perfection.    Sonny has been shown extensively on the West Coast and as far east as the Michigan Great Lakes Invitational.  In January of this year, he was shown at the National Western Stock Show where he won Reserve Grand Champion.  Just recently he was awarded 1st place at the Ventura County Fair and Grand Champion Stallion. He then went on to the Rocky Mountain Regional Draft Show in Utah and won 2nd Place in the Halter Division, Reserve Senior Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, and Best American Bred Stallion.   Equally impressive are the new herd mares, Scotchwind P.S.
