On Dec. 13, the Tehachapi Heritage League held it's annual dinner with catering provided by The Apple Shed Restaurant. League President Charles White thanked the board and the hard working members for a successful year and gave some insight into next year’s projects and goals. A special, “Thank you” was given to Del Troy for her 34 years of service to the organization as a founding member. Also honored were lifetime members (just a few months less than Troy) Jerrie and Harry Cowan, as well as Jerrie's mother Dottie Newton. It's these lifetime member’s dedication to the preservation of Tehachapi's history that has kept the Heritage League alive all these years. One of the biggest notes of achievement for this year has been the success of various sales events held at the Errea House.
