RISE, Riding Instruction for Special Equestrians, received a donation of $1,000 to help with operations expenses from Honda R & D America. Michael Allen of Honda made the presentation. Rids has a facility near Bright Lake and is available to anyone with a disability. They open on May 1 and subject to weather say open through November. Currently the oldest rider is 73 and the youngest is only three. Terri Sturn, Executive Director, said, “Volunteers to assist with the rides are always welcome.” You can contact RISE at 477-0637.
