JV baseball reaches tourney title game The Braves’ bats came alive this past week in the Wasco Tournament, vaulting Tehachapi to the title game against Wasco in impressive pre-season action. Mountain Baseball reached the championship with victories over McFarland (14-4), Shafter (16-6) and Delano (16-5), but fell in defeat in the championship to Wasco by a 4-2 score. Zach Timm had two stolen bases while Jordan Beardsley scored twice against McFarland. Zach St. John recorded a triple and run scored, Zach Pettitt had two stolen bases and a run scored, Cody Miller had three stolen bases and a run scored, and Christian Torres had three runs scored and two stolen bases to highlight the action against the Cougars.
