A bright and shiny, new stop sign has appeared at the intersection of Dennison Road and Tehachapi Boulevard. What was formerly a north/south 2-way stop is now a 4-way stop. Keep this in mind as you are driving the Boulevard. Tehachapi Police Chief Jeff Kermode said “The TPD is trying to maintain a very high profile around the new STOP sign to help educate drivers, especially “locals”, about its installation. People driving in the area are likely to see a high number of traffic stops, however we are issuing warnings at that intersection for the first two weeks to help drivers adjust.”
