Nearly one year to the day after the Tehachapi Community Theatre set out to build it's own home after vacating the TAPA building, the walls of the Old BeeKay [soon to be the NEW TCT's BeeKay Theatre] are coming tumbling down. And, in reconstruction lingo, "What comes down, must go up." Scheduled for an August 2nd finish date the 'Rebirth of the BeeKay is underway!' TCT continues their fundraising drive through sponsorships, tax-deductible donations, and in-kind activities to raise the $60,000 they are commited to providing for the Theatre's interior. This includes an Art Deco design motif with Chandeliers, sconces, beautiful larger-than-life murals, an audience riser-seating system, real theatrical lighting and sound systems, control booth, concessions, lobby, green room, bathrooms, and a Recognition Wall for all of the Sponsors and Donors.
