Ray Roy Nance 59, of Golden Hills, entered into rest on March 27, 2008 after a brief and sudden Illness. Ray was born in Inglewood, CA to Raymond and Alma Nance. Ray had two older siblings, Barbara and Patricia, who would pay him to take the blame when they got into trouble. So, at an early age Ray found ways to make extra spending money. In his teen years, his love was surfing and the beach. In 1969, he was drafted into the army, but never did a tour of duty in the Vietnam  War. He worked many odd jobs but in 1981, he found a job with See's Candies in Los Angeles. Ray worked for See's for 26 years, as a maintenance man. He always said He had the "Sweetest" job. He loved his job and all the great people he worked with over the years. He was loved at See's and will be missed by many. Ray had what he called a "Dry" sense of humor, which everyone that knew him will miss. Ray was lucky to have two of his own children; Vaughn Joel, 17 and Raychelle Lee, 11....
