Clifford Clyde Stephens was born Oct. 16, 1956, in Redbud, Ill., to Clifford and Dorothy Stephens, of Tehachapi. He passed away March 28, with his family and friends by his side.
Cliff served in the army from 1974 - 1976.
Clyde, as his family called him, moved from Riverside, to Tehachapi seven years ago to be closer to his family.
Cliff had a great love for football, and his favorite team was the Miami Dolphins. Cliff loved teaching his mother Dorothy and nephew, Skyler all about football, and had thought about becoming a coach someday.
Cliff is survived by his parents, Clifford and Dorothy Stephens, of Tehachapi; his daughter, Jessica Stephens, of Huntington Beach; his sisters, Angie DeBock, of Bakersfield, Robyn Touchkov, of Tehachapi, Lori Ann Stephens, also of Tehachapi; nephews, John Stephens, who is serving in the Navy, in Spain, George Touchkov, of Tehachapi, Derek DeBock, of Bakersfield, and Skyler Stephens, of Tehachapi.
